All classes are in rehearsal for spring productions. Former YHS drama
student, Samantha Lamb will be the center of a art photography exhibit at
city arts March 6th-5:30 pm at city arts center. You can find samples of
Samantha's work at samanthalambphotography.com. Also, you may want to go to
youtube and look for "Sandrima Rising". The trailer is now in production.
This was a low budget project in which former YHS Drama Student Kyle
Pennington was working. Kyle now lives in California. Jeremy and Clay are
doing very well at AMDA and in their words they are "networking and making
great connections".

Reach for the moon guys!! Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars!

Drama Students:

As we discussed at the beginning of the year, we will have spring
performances to showcase what you have learned this year. We are very proud
of your work. Be advised that you are responsible for your own costume,
rehearsals will be held in class and your attendance is required. This is a
double test grade, a group cooperation grade and your costume will be a
grade. Be sure to check your calendar now as these dates can not be
readjusted due to the end of year testing schedule. In all cases, the casts
are called at least 30 minutes prior to performance. You are welcome to
attend any performances. There will be a $5 per seat charge for all Theater
Production performances. Some Theater Production rehearsals will be held
after school as discussed prior to entrance to the class. Extra rehearsals
will be determined at the discretion of the director. The drama awards
attendance is of course, optional. Students wishing to be admitted to
Theater
Production next year should plan to attend the Theater Production
performances. I am very proud of your work!!
