| WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP...FRIENDS OF CAWTHRA PARK NEEDS NEW VOLUNTEERS AND
EXECUTIVE OFFICERS IF IT IS TO CONTINUE AND MAINTAIN IT'S CHARITABLE STATUS.
Friends of Cawthra Park raise approximately $20,000 per year with very
little work on our part. We need a President and Vice-President as well as a
number of volunteers to help one Saturday every few months. CAN YOU FIND
THE TIME TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL? If so, please email Shelly Visser at the

Want to volunteer - please note:
If you are in direct contact with students and not in the presence of a
teacher (e.g. providing car ride, assisting in a class, chaperoning on a
trip) you will require a Criminal Record Check (a Peel School Board policy).
Criminal Record Check forms are available in the school office. Please note
that they do take several weeks to process and you have to take the
completed form in person to Peel Police HQ. We suggest you get your
Criminal Record Check completed as soon as possible in case there is a
future volunteer opportunity that interests you.
