Welcome to the Garden Park Community Centre 

We've moved! 

After months of preparation, the staff at Garden Park Community Centre is pleased to announce its grand re-opening in our new, larger facility. We appreciate your patience as we have worked to expand both our space and the variety of programs we offer. 

We're still in the neighbourhood 

Just a few blocks away from our old location near the park, we're now housed in the former Woodside Elementary School at 794 Mulvale St., just east of Pine. Please drop in for a tourrwe think you'll like what you see. 

Outside you'll find 

• a large, inviting play area, complete with a new climber. 

• a shaded picnic area with chess table. 

• a resurfaced basketball court. 

• lots of open space with plenty of room for a community garden.

Inside you'll find 

• beautifully restored classrooms/studios with polished wood floors and large windows. 

• a full gymnasium equipped for basketball, volleyball and badminton. 

• wheelchair-accessible washrooms and change rooms. 

• a fully updated kitchen with a commercial stove. 

Programs 

We offer something for everyone: 

• After-school care for children ages 5 - 12 

• Recreational sports leagues for students ages 9 - 16 

• Friday night youth club 

• Photography, art and cooking classes for children, youth and adults 

ur space is ideal for any activity with a community focus-yoga classes, first-aid training, and more. We welcome your ideas for future programs. 

The gym and classrooms are also available to rent at reasonable rates. If your group or organization needs a location for sports, workshops or meetings, please give us a call.
