High Frequency Words
Continue to help students read and spell:
I, a, like, liked, and, the, can, at, to, too, in, me, we, if, am, you, go, on, for, come, it,
is, up, and short /a/ and /i/ words such as man,and pig.
Small reading booklets will be coming home. Let your child read to you. Focus on the high
frequency words.

Math
We are in our 10th week and our #10 math booklet. Students are working on being able to follow
directions, work without disturbing their neighbors, and working neatly (doing their very best).
We will be exploring: more with left and right, graphing, matching and counting with numbers
0-10, adding one more to a number, geometry and equal parts.
