WINTER COACHING POSITIONS 2008-2009
Boy’s Basketball and Girl’s Basketball
Coaches are needed for the winter sports season for boy’s basketball
and girl’s basketball. Anyone interested in coaching a team please apply by
sending a letter to the Athletic Board listing your qualifications and
coaching experience. Past coaches for these sports need to reapply for their
positions. No position is guaranteed.
In order to coach you need to have a State Police clearance, Child
Abuse clearance and have attended, or will attend, the class on “Protecting
God’s Children – Safe Environment”.
Please send your letter into PJPII Athletic Association, Attention:
Dave Michell, Athletic Director, 2875 Manor Rd., West Brandywine, PA, 19320,
by Friday, October 3rd, 2008.
REGISTRATION FOR WINTER SPORTS 2008-2009
Boys and Girls Basketball
Registration for Boys and Girls Basketball will open on October 1, 2008.
Any student in grades 5 -8 who attends PJPII or actively participates in
RREP and wants to try out for CYO Basketball must do the following:
Go to www.wagdogs.com and create an account by clicking on BECOME A MEMBER
(this is free and only requires that you have an email address). Click on
REGISTER FOR AN ACTIVITY – click on Pope John Paul II, West Brandywine and
complete the registration form.
No payment is due at this time. When teams are finalized by the coaches,
payment of $100 will be due (payable to PJPII Athletic Association) before
uniforms can be distributed and games played.
