How can I register my child to begin instrumental band lessons?

ELANCO has a spring registration for interested 3rd, 4th, and 5th 
graders who wish to play a band instrument in the fall of the 
upcoming school year.

What if I can't afford to rent/lease an instrument?

Check with Mr. Moll or Mrs. Schoener -- sometimes school instruments 
are available OR contact Instrumental Solutions at 717-442-8250

What kind of reeds do beginner clarinet/saxophone players need?

We use Rico Royal #2 reeds to start our students. As they advance, we 
upgrade their reed strength.

What kind of reeds do beginner oboe players need?

We start our students on fibercane oboe reeds since they are more 
durable then we upgrade them to Selmer Soloist medium soft reeds.

How do I join the Elementary Jazz Band?

If you play flute, clarinet, piano, or drumset -- you must audition for the 
directors to be in this organization.  All Saxes and brass are welcome as 
long 
as they are in their third lesson book or higher.  Directors will notify you 
by 
letter if you are eligible.
