I am a graduate from West Chester State University with a B.S. in Health
and Physical Education. I received my Master's of Education from the
University of Pittsburgh. I completed my Administrative certificate through
Gannon University.
I have coached both in high school and college level to include Bradford
High School girls basketball, University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's
basketball, and St. Bonaventure University softball. I am the Head
Girl's Golf coach for Bradford High school for the 2008 season.
I have been trained by Pennsylvania State Unversity to faclitate
their "Strengthening Families" through the Prosper program. I am
teaching the All-Star Health program which is conjunction with the grant
Prosper program. The All-Star program is in its fifth year and is taught in
7th grade.
I have lived in Bradford for most of my life. I am the mother of two
children, Abbey, a graduate at University of Pittsburgh and works for the
State of Pennsylvania Corrections Division. My youngest daughter, Katlyn, is
a sophomore at Misericordia University majoring in Nursing and swims for the
collegiate team.
Teaching the Bradford School District has been a dream come true. Being
a native of Bradford, it is important to give back to your community and I
have this wonderful opportunity to work with the youth of this community. I
enjoy the interaction with the students and hope to provide them with
information that will be used to help develop a healthy life-style and give
the information to make healthy decisions in their life.
To provide a strong, effective health education program to help students
develop healthy life-styles, and to enhance their intellectual growth and
development as they become responsible members of society for the future.
