Where can I go for resource help?

You may seek out assistance from any learning support teacher. 
They will 
guide you to the right person for help. 
 

7th Period - All Learning Support Teachers are available.

       If your having a hard time receiving resource help, please 
don't 
hesitate to come and talk to me to see what we can work out!  
First you need 
to go to the assigned room  that has resource.  
        If you need resource during a period when it is not 
available, come 
see me and we will see what we can do to help you!!!

What are the responsibities of Mainstreamed Learning Support Students?

Learning Support students mainstreamed for regular education 
classes are 
responsible for the completion of class work as requested by the 
regular 
education teacher (modification will be made based on need).  
They will 
maintain notebooks and complete written assignments and take 
quizzes within 
the class.  Students may be allowed access to the Learning 
Support teachers
for testing purposes and for help when needed.

What if I'm late for Mrs. Brown's class?

If a studnet is late for my class, remember 3 lates equals a 
detention.  
Also, remember you earn 2 points for every time you report for 
class on time.
Points will either help you or hurt you.  The choice is truly 
yours.

Are drinks allowed in class?

Drinks are not allowed in class.  You will be asked to put it on 
the 
counter, to be taken with you when you leave at the end of 
class.  This is a 
building policy and will be followed.

Can I wear my headphones?

You can wear your head phones but guess what?  Headphones and 
CD's will not 
be allowed to be worn in class.  You will be aksed, to put them 
on the 
counter until the end of the class period.

Can I wear my hat/ hood in class?

Wearing a hat/hood in class is not permitted.  You will be kindly 
asked to 
remove the item off your head.  The building administrators have 
asked for 
this to be reinforced.  
Taking your hat off within a building has been a public display 
of respect 
for yourself and others.

What if I cut class?

If any student has cut a class, he/she on a first offense will 
receive a 
triple detention after that you will receive a suspension.  
School policy 
will be followed.

Can I do anything to help my grade?

Reporting to class on time helps your grade. By the end of the 
quarter, 
entry to class on time adds up to a test grade.  Completing 
assigned work 
and projects is a given.

Can I go to the bathroom?

Everyone is able to use the facility during class time.  Just 
remember, we 
all agreed, 2 outs in a week!   Remember to be considerate of 
others.  Use 
the facility quickly.. others may need to go!

What happens if I don't hand in my assignements?

All assignments will be graded and requested to be handed in.  
Failure to 
hand in an assignment will result in a failing grade.  You are 
responsible 
to complete all assigned work in a timely fashion.  Take pride in 
completing 
your assignments.

Will profanity be tolerated in the high school?

According to the administration, profanity will not be tolerated 
and 
students will be receiving citations/consequences for usage.  
Respecting 
oneself leads to the proper use of vocabulary.  Why degrade 
yourself by 
using profanity?

What is inclusion?

Inclusion means that all students in a school, regardless of 
their strengths 
or weaknesses in any area, become part of the school community. 
They are 
included in the feeling of belonging among other students, 
teachers, and 
support staff.  Support staff are available to assist you.
