I would like to welcome your child into fifth grade. The 2011-2012 school
year is my fourth year at Greater Nanticoke Area, and my fourth year of
teaching fifth grade. I am a graduate of Wilkes University where I
received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in history.
In addition, I am a graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area. Currently, I am the
offensive coordinator for the G.A.R. H.S. football team, an assitant High
School Girls' Basketball coach and JV Head Coach For Greater Nanticoke Area.
I am looking forward to getting to know both you and your child, and believe
we will have a very successful school term together. During fifth
grade,students achieve great academic growth, while also growing socially
with their fellow classmates. To be able to achieve these goals, I believe it
is very important for a good relationship between the teacher, parent, and
student. This will ensure the best educational experience for our students.
Each and every day we strive for excellence in education.
Our mission is to succeed both academically and socially. Throughout the
year we will work as one to become the best students we can. My mission is
to provide a learning environment in which every student can be successful.
