3/8/2010 Complete Day 1 of the homework packet. Students may work ahead.
2/18/2010 Some students still need to get their notebook signed where they
have their two test scores written. The next test, tentatively scheduled for
Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, will be on Figurative Language: similes, metaphors,
personification, and hyperbole. In addition, students will also be asked
comprehension questions on short poems and on the Reader's Theater version
of Romeo and Juliet. (Students will be allowed to refer back to the play.)
2/16/2010 Complete the corrections of the Hoot summary and characterization
sheets. Remember that this is a test grade. Students need to get their
notebook signed where the two test grades are recorded. We have had 2 tests
this marking period. In addition, there were 2 extra credit assignments
given to students.
2/8/10 Homework/ Test Students need to complete the "Hoot" worksheets on
summarizing the plot. These worksheets will count as a test grade!!
2/5/10 Complete characterization worksheet on "Hoot".
1/28/2010 The test on Amigo Brothers will be on Monday. Study vocabulary.
1/26/2010 Study vocabulary for Friday's test.
1/25 2010 "Amigo Brothers" complete vocabulary and Reading worksheet B.
Study your vocabulary. There will be a test on Friday of this week. It will
cover both vocabulary and comprension.
