A Persuasive Speech is assigned for Jan. 21 aand 22. Each student must
present a speech. This is a MAJOR quarter grade.
Any work left with a substitute is to be done in class and turned in. All
sub assignments count as quiz grades. If you complete the assignments, you'll
get a 100; if not, a 0. You are responsible for making up anything you miss,
even on sub days.
The Hound of the Baskervilles independent reading must be completed by the
beginning of March.
Each time you are unprepared for class, you will have a point taken off your
average.
Dress Code Violators WILL BE SENT TO THE OFFICE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you are absent, go to ahyder.wikispaces.com to retrieve any notes, vocab
words, math problems, words of the day, or assignments you may have missed.
You can also read all of the stories we read in class, as well as the
independent reading books.
When you are absent, you have one week to make up any work, tests, or
quizzes. After 1 week, the grade will be a zero and cannot be made up later
in the quarter.
