Week of FEBRUARY 13 - FEBRUARY 17, 2012
Dear Families,
This week we will begin Theme 8, Animal Adventures. We will meet the letters
Ww, Ss and the sight words "no" and "see".
In Math we will begin a new chapter about money. Your child will be able to
identify a penny, nickel, dime, quarter and dollar bill. Also he/she will be
able to give the value of each piece.
Please have your child share his/her daily work with you. Your encouragement
and support strengthens your child's learning and conficence.
Remember that Valentine's Day is Tuesday, February 14.
