MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2009   

CALENDAR LANGUAGE -   We will name the day, month, and year. 
PHONEMIC AWARENESS -  We will listen for final, or ending, sounds in words.
READING/LITERACY -    We will listen to "I Took My Frog to the Library." We 
                      will discuss characters. We will understand real and 
                      make-believe. We will review our -am words. PAGE 19
WRITING -             We will make a list of rooms.


TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2009   

CALENDAR LANGUAGE -  We will name the days of the week and recite the 
                     date.  
PHONEMIC AWARENESS - We will listen to the first sound in a word (onset) and
                     the rest of the word (rime), blend them, and tell the 
                     word. 
READING/LITERACY -   We will listen to the story, "The Terrible Tragadabas."
                     We will identify the problem and solution from the story.
                     We will understand a folktale. We will review our -at
                     word family. PAGE 20 
WRITING -            We will write a list of -at words. 


WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2009   NO SCHOOL - VERTERAN'S DAY

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2009   

CALENDAR LANGUAGE -   We will name recite the date including the day, month,
                      number, and year.  
PHONEMIC AWARENESS -  We will listen to words, break them into individual
                      sounds, or phonemes, and tell the sounds. 
READING/LITERACY -    We will listen to and sing the song, "Down By the Bay."
                      We will identify rhyming words. We will review our 
                      -ap words. PAGE 21
WRITING -             We will write a list of -ap words.

                      

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2009  

CALENDAR LANGUAGE -   We will name recite the date including the day, month,
                      number, and year. 
PHONEMIC AWARENESS -  We will identify the number of words in sentences. 
READING/LITERACY -    We will listen to "Emily's House." We will identify the
                      beginning, middle, and end of the story. We will build 
                      sentences. PAGE 22
WRITING -             We will write a number book.
