An important part of the spiritual life is the encouragement of the Saints.
These men and women of faith lived the virtuous life courageously before us.
We can really look into their lives and find examples of fortitude, struggle,
dependance on God, piety, love, hope, faith and joy. They represent two
thousand years of Christian heritage from which we all could benefit.
I recommend a saint for the day reading to strengthen our own struggle to be
saints!
