| Here at the School Street Elementary School Library, we have a Memorial Fund
in order to honor people through the purchase of new books.
We encourage you to think of this fund whenever you are celebrating or
honoring a person near and dear to your heart. You may donate a small amount
of money, usually $10 to $20, in order to have one book purchased in their
name. You may also donate a large amount of money and have several books of
your choosing donated to the library in their name. We will put a plate on
the inside cover of the book saying who the book is in honor or memory of and
who presented the book. We will then send a card to the family to let them
know a book has been dedicated in honor or memory of their friend or loved
one.
Please keep this in mind for all occasions! You may dedicate a book for
someone's birthday, retirement, new baby, or for any other occasion that you
would like to celebrate! You may also dedicate a book in memory of a loved
one that has passed away. Simply contact us here in the library with your
wishes.
