Dear Families,

We had a great Catholic School's Week.  We participated in many educational games and activities that enhanced learning!  We made a quilt and learned about fractions and geometry.  We learned about different types of puzzles and how to solve them.  Also, we celebrated out 100th day while learning multiplication!!  Lastly, we completed our Flat Stanley Project and your child has been sent in the mail!!

The Flat Stanley projects were mailed yesterday.  You may want to inform the person that they will be receiving "fragile" mail from St. Philip School.  Thank you for all of the assistance in making this project a success.

In Religion, we have been practicing for our Sacrament of Penance. We completed a flip booklet with step by step instructions on how to make a good confession.  We have been working outside our Religion books so we receive a good foundation of the proper procedure of the Sacrament of Penance.

Lastly,  if your child has any special religious artifacts that you think our class would enjoy, your child may bring it in on any Friday! Some examples might be a relic, a special medal, special Rosary beads, etc...

Thank you,

Mrs. Miller
