Hello everyone,

Parent Update:
Volunteers are always needed at every Youth Ministry event.

According to the Diocese of Pittsburgh, chaperones must fill out the online database to receive
clearances to work with children, sign The Code of Pastoral Conduct and attend a "Protecting
God's Children" Workshop.

A copy of The Code of Pastoral Conduct may be found at:

This includes any volunteer through Youth Ministry, School, Religious Ed, Parish Festival, or
Choir.

Clearances may be received by seeing the person in charge of the area of the parish you will be
working under most. Heidi is who you would see to volunteer in Youth Ministry.

Greeting Cards:
We have beautiful cards with a picture of St. Philip's alter on the front!!

St. Philip CYM is selling GREETING CARDS with a picture of our alter. Blank cards are $17 for
20 cards/21 envelopes. We also have 2 verses available for Christmas or holiday cards. Verses
are $20 for 20 cards/21 envelopes.
They can be used for Thank You notes, Birthday cards or any occasion cards. Please call 412-922-
6300 ext 6 to order your cards. Cards are also available at the parish office during normal
business hours.
