Family Showcase
Our Forensics Family Show case will be held on Sunday, February 12, at 6:30 in Fr Kelty Hall. There are so many events happening this month it was difficult to find a date. Any student who wishes to do so may perform his or her piece for all the friends and family in attendance. Mrs Petersen and I will provide light refreshments. An invitation will be sent home today. Please respond by February 9. We hope this is a good date for most of the children and their families.
The season will end with Finals at Bishop Canevin on the 25th . We will be permitted only 10 speakers at the tournament which includes one Multiple Reading Team. Selections for the Finals Team will be made based upon student availability, seniority, preparedness, scores at previous tournaments, and category. Practice after the Family Showcase will only be for those students attending Finals.
We have had a great season placing in every tournament and allowing each team member to compete at a tournament. We hope we can conclude it with a fun Family Showcase. Thanks so much for your interest, support, and hard work!
Thank you
Mrs Huth & Mrs Petersen

Finals/All Stars, will be held at Bishop Canevin on February 25th. We will only be permitted to take 10 students. The 3 8th grade girls are invited to attend. Please let me know if your child is NOT available on the 25th.
Thank you to all the parents who drove, sent snacks and attended the awards ceremony. A special thank you to Mrs Petersen, Mrs Rago, Nicole Barone, and Mrs Hoff who were such a big help on Saturday. My daughter gave birth to twin girls in the middle of the tournament and I had to leave. They took over. Thanks so much!!
Happy Catholic Schools Week!!
