·        Middle School Pizza Party Contest – 7A is leading by just 2 horses
·        K-5 Pizza Party Contest – 1B is leading by just 4 horses
·        Dress Down Day Contest – The Boys now lead the Girls by only 3 horses

Parents the deadline is approaching fast for Horse Sales for this year’s Night at the Races.
Please hurry and send in your envelopes ASAP.

Also, this year’s event is selling quick, so if you are planning to attend, please reserve your spot by purchasing your tickets in advance.

The Night at the Races Committee is holding a block pool for the chance to win a $500.00

St. Philip Tuition Voucher.  A limited number of blocks are still available for sale.

Winner will be selected on February 18th at the NATR.

Blocks can be purchased for:

$10 for one block

$25 for three blocks

$35 for five blocks (best value)

Blocks can be purchased with your payment to the Office, c/o NATR SPS TUITION VOUCHER

by   Friday February 10, 2012.  Make checks payable to St. Philip PTG.

Pop Tabs
Recycling Program
for the Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House!
For several years we at St. Philip School, including Father Walt and Religious Ed. have been collecting pop tabs
and sending them to Ronald McDonald House Charities on 44th Street.
Families are offered hope, compassion and a safe living place when they have a child in the hospital in Pittsburgh with a serious illness.
Last year Father Walt won the competition, he collect more pop tabs than we did.  We won the year before. So save your pop tabs and send them in to SPS.

What is New?
A new stove and a new oven was installed in the cafeteria over the Christmas break.
The old stove and oven lasted since 1954 when they constructed the building.

CAFETERIA

Dear Parents,
The Cafeteria will need the help of volunteers.
 If you are able to help please call or e-mail the cafeteria
as soon as possible so we can put you on our schedule.
The cafeteria is always looking for more volunteers to help between 10:15
and 12:15 Monday through Friday. If you can help even once a month it
helps cover our required volunteers on a daily basis.We could also use
some volunteers who can be "on call" in the event of volunteers who need
to call off.Thank you to all of our currently dedicated volunteers and to
all for considering this request.
