Homework:
We have homework every Monday and Wednesday. Please be sure your child
colors each paper. Parents should sign each paper so that the children know
that we (parents and teachers) are working together and are both interested
in our children's success.
please practice printing letters and numbers on lined paper. I will be glad
to give the chldren stickers for this extra practice work. PRACTICE MAKES
PERFECT!!!!!
We will be taking home our blue folder and spelling notebook
each Monday - We are returning the book and blue folder on Friday. The
children know the directions.
Parents should sign each paper at the top. Children should print their name
on each paper. Ask your child what the directions were from the teacher!
REMEMBER: COLOR YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! I will try to give the children an extra
direction on homework papers to build memory skills. Ask if there are any
extra directions. NO MARKERS OR PEN!! CRAYONS AND PENCILS ONLY!
SPELLING TESTS - This should help us learn and remember the sight
words. Keep practicing. We will have a pretest on Wednesday. This will
help the children learn the words by Friday.
YOUR CHILD'S READING SKILLS WILL DEVELOP QUICKLY AND FIRMLY IF THEY
KNOW THE SIGHT WORDS. PLEASE REVIEW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
SIGHT WORDS: Your child will learn sight words and color words.
Practice counting a,d recognizing numbers 1- 100. Review letters and
