Week Nine…we move into a new month!
· October was dedicated to the rosary; in November, we have All Saints Day, on November 1st, followed by All Souls Day, on the second. November is noted for our remembrance of loved ones who have gone before us. Check out the beautiful Saints display in our church sanctuary and take time to pray and have Masses offered this month for departed family and friends.
· Our Harvest Fest, orchestrated by the 8th graders, went beautifully. Thank you for your support.
· If you are experiencing any difficulty in placing lunch orders through the website, just let us know. Many families have unknowingly switched the ID and password, causing a breakdown.
· This week, we have our school Mass on Thursday, the 5th.
· On the 6th, we have a Home & School lunch and the Confirmation retreat for our 6th graders. They may wear their own clothes for this retreat but are expected to dress appropriately.
· Coming up in the future, we have Grandparents Day for grades 1 to 4 on the 17th. The schedule is as follows:
· Grandparents and special friends are invited to join us for Mass at 8:30.
· After Mass, the students will return to school and grandparents will go to O’Brien Hall for pastries, fruit, and coffee.
· At 10:00, the students will come over and join their grandparents for Bingo,
· At 11:00, the students return to school and the grandparents prepare to go home.
· If you are planning to attend Grandparents Day, you will need to respond by Friday, the 13th, so that we can have a correct count of our guests.
· Family Spirituality Night, scheduled for the 19th of November will have to be moved to November 12th, due to a conflict in dates.
Have a most blessed week!
