About The Teacher

I am very excited to begin my second year here at WPSD!

A little history:  

I graduated from Indiana University of PA with a bachelor’s degree in the 
Education of Persons with Hearing Loss program in 1998.  I began my career 
as an Educational Interpreter for Intermediate Unit #1.  After two years in 
that position, I began working as a Teacher for the Deaf with IU #1, at 
Frazier Middle/High School and stayed there 2007, when I was 
hired by WPSD.

I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 6  years.   We have two 
daughters  - Camryn is 3 years old and Callie just turned ONE!  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, 
stamping, and scrapbooking.  

I am really looking forward to working with your child.  I aim to create a 
comfortable learning environment where your child is excited to learn new 
things.
