Spelling- Study for Spelling Test over homophones...will be counted off for spelling and correct use of
the word
Reading- Comprehension and Vocabulary test over- "What do Illustrators Do?"
instance- an example
illustrate- to draw a picture or diagram to explain or decorate something written
style- a particular way of saying or doing something
texture- the way a surface looks or how it feels when you touch it
sketch- simple drawings that are done quickly
suggestions- ideas or plans offered for others to think about
pastels- chalk-like crayons that artists use for drawing
Language- There will be a quiz over linking verbs and commas in a series
Math- Subtraction quiz- across zeroes
Science- Lesson 2 Test from WB- lesson begins on pg. 132 in textbook
