How can I get in touch with my child's teacher?

The best way to get in touch with me is via email. I use this form of communication most frequently.
The next best way to reach me is by sending a note in with your child and being specific in describing
what I can help you with.

If there is a situation that ABSOLUTELY cannot wait until the end of the school day, you may reach me

How will I know if school is cancelled due to weather?

At the first sign of impending bad weather, tune you TV to a local channel (2,4,5, or 17), and watch for
School Closings under Lebanon Special School District. You can also listen to local radio stations or the
internet to find out if LSSD schools are closed or late.

Do I really need an agenda book?

YES! I give your child time every morning to fill out their own agenda. THEY are responsible for doing
this each and every day! As we go through their assignments, they are to X-out the assignments they
have completed. At the end of the day, anything not Xed out should be finished as homework. IT IS
VERY RARE FOR STUDENTS TO BE ASKED TO NOT FILL OUT AGENDAS.

Can I send in a treat for my child on their birthday?

Yes! Please be sure to ask ahead of time how many to send in, making sure there is enough for
everyone in class. We usually take birthday treats outside with us at recess. At this time there are 22
students in our class.
