Homework will be sent home periodically. Your child should complete this
work by him/herself, under your supervision, and return it to school by the due
date. Assignments and due dates are listed in the Kindergram. Completing and
returning homework helps build a sense of responsibility and prepares him/her
for the homework he/she will have to complete in later school years.
In a few weeks, your child will be bringing home books that they have
worked with in school to share with you. These take home books promote home
involvement and allow for the reinforcement of book concepts. Please enjoy
this special reading time with your child and keep these to refer back to as
the year progresses.
