Pi Day

Pi day is normally held March 13th, but since we are on spring break during that time we will be having Pi Day on March 6th and 7th.

Mrs. Fuller’s 7th Mathematics classes will participate in a Pi Day Celebration during class time on Thursday and Friday.  Some of the fun and educational activities you can take part in include:

·       Pi day Greeting card – Use Circle vocabulary terms to make your own or send one via email to a parent or last year’s math teacher!

·       Finding Pi – “Bet ya didn’t know it was lost!”  In this activity, you will measure the circumference and the diameter of a circle and calculate the value of pi.

·       Pi. Bake-Off – Make your favorite pie, and bring it in to Mrs. Fuller's room before homeroom in the morning to be entered in the contest.  You can win fun prizes!

·       Pi Karaoke – Come sing along with us to some p-tunes!

·       A-mazing Einstein! – complete the maze.

·       Pi R Square!” – I thought pies are round!”

·       p Jeopardy – Jeopardy with Alex Pi-bec

·       Enjoy a piece of Einstein’s birthday cake!

Be there or B2 (be Square)!!!
