TeacherWeb may be purchased with assistance through E-Rate, the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund. This program is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal communications Commission (FCC) and is designed to ensure schools and libraries have access to affordable telecommunications and information services.
Through E-Rate, eligible services from TeacherWeb may qualify for discounts up to 90%. Discount percentages for applicants are based on poverty level and the urban/rural status of the community served. The window to apply for E-Rate services is early November to early February preceding the start of the funding year.
