Education:
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in English and
History and from Texas A&M Commerce with a Masters in Education.
Teaching Experience:
I started teaching English at Berry in 2001 and then switched to Information
Communications and Technology (ICT), which I taught for eight years. During
those eight years I also taught Creative Writing, and Dyslexic Reading (MTA).
I am now entering my eleventh year at Berry, and I am excited to be teaching
Creative Writing once again.I'm also looking forward to expanding the
Destination Imagination class (Creative Problem Solving), which was added as
a class last year. I think that this school year will be very exciting.
I beleive that every student can learn. They must be inspired and supported
in the classroom environment in order to succeed. Thus, I believe that the
student, parents, and teacher should work together to aid in the child's
success.
