About The Teacher

I have a husband named Kenny.  We have been married for 18 years. I 
have two boys named Colton, age 11 & Jared, age 7 and a yellow lab named 
Simba. I live in Colleyville.  I have been teaching 14 years.  I taught 12 
years in 1st grade. I was named teacher of the year in 2004-2005. This is my 
second year in 2nd grade and I love it! I love to spend time with my family, 
ride bikes, walk on the trails, crosstitch, cook, play Sodoku and scrapbook. 
I am walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day/60 Mile Walk!  I am 
very 
excited about this and have been training for it!

Mission For The Class

My mission for my class is to instill responsibility, accountability, 
honesty, integrity, and most of all the drive to be the best that they can 
be.  I want my class to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.
