Thank you for the wonderful wishes for my birthday. The cards were sweet and
the students and I enjoyed celebrating. Thank you, too, for sending in all
the canned food. It feels good to help others.
This week in science we will wrap up our unit on the moon and how it affects
life on earth. Test will be on Tuesday, November 17.
In math we will continue on our journey through fractions. We will be looking
at the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and prime and composit numbers. Please
quiz your student on multiplication facts every day. Knowing these facts
without much thought really helps with fractions.
Please spend some time looking at your student's grades online. Many need
reminders about the impact of late work.
