What is Ms. Barton's policy on late work?

I expect students to hand in their assignments when they are 
due.  If an 
assignment is handed in one day late, it will be worth 50% of the 
original 
grade.  If the assignment is two days late it will be worth 25% 
of the 
original grade.  After that time, the assignment will not be 
accepted.  If 
there are special circumstances involved, I will work with the 
individual 
student on a case-by-case basis.

What is the grading scale used?

A = 93-100%
A- = 90-92%
B+ = 87-89%
B = 83-86%
B- = 80-82%
C+ = 77-79%
C = 73-76%
C- = 70-72%
D+ = 67-69%
D = 63-66%
D- = 60-62%
F = 0-59%

Is extra credit offered?

No.  I do not like students to "buy" their grades with 
extra credit.  I 
expect the work to be done well and on time.  Occasionally, I 
will give 
students the chance to earn bonus points.
