The Summer 2006, AYES Internship is under way.
Local business's particpating with new interns for this year are:
Scarff Ford of Auburn and Valley Pontiac Buick GMC of Auburn, and Don Small
Oil of Auburn.
Businesses who have participated with Auburn High School are:
Valley Pontiac Buick GMC, Auburn, for eight years; Scarff Ford, Auburn, for
seven years; Art Gamblin Motors, Enumclaw; Firestone, Auburn & Kent;
Auburn Subaru VW; Brett Chevrolet (formally Bill Hazelett Chevrolet), Kent;
Warren Secord Auto Center, Kent; Valley Truck of Pacific.
I want to thank and congratulate the students and their parents, who
saw the opportunity, acted appropriately and made a commitment to
their future. The students are in for a remarkable career experience.
Also, participating dealerships are to be commended for providing the
studens with a valuable experience, and ultimately seeing the value in
training their own future technicians through this program.
