OPEN HOUSE, FEB. 16, 2011

Maple families got to visit C-2 and C Pod at an Open House held on Feb. 16. It was nice to see so many visitors! The C-2 students had a checklist of items/activities that they completed with their family members. The students were especially proud to share their book reports (hanging from the ceiling lights).

VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY

C-2 celebrated Valentine's Day by having a party on Feb. 14! The students made and decorated beautiful Valentine card holder envelopes. During the party, the students got to hand out their Valentine cards and put them in the envelopes on each child's desk. Then everyone got to make a healthy fruit parfait made out of plain yogurt, berries, and granola cereal (provided by Mrs. T.). Even Principal Hunter and Ms. Nettke stopped by to enjoy a snack. Thank you to Clyde's mom who came and helped the students make their fruit parfaits! Thank you to the students who gave me such wonderful Valentine cards! You made me feel very special!
