Journal Writing
Spelling
Independent Reading/Reading Logs
Book Reports
Story Writing/Writer's Workshop
Letter Writing (Pen Pals)
Penmanship
Poetry - Poems and Chants
Keyboarding Skills
Read Naturally (for fluency practice)
Reading Comprehension
Phonics Skills
10:30-10:40AM Morning Recess
10:45-11:25AM Reading/Language Arts/Writing Block(continued)
11:25AM-11:30PM Wash hands for lunch and begin walking to the cafeteria.
11:30-12:05PM Lunch and recess
12:05-1:00PM Every Day Math (EDM)
* 12:20-12:40PM (Wednesdays only - visit the Library to check out new books)
1:00-1:40PM (Mon., Tues., and Friday - No extra classes on Wednesdays)
P.E., Multi-Arts, or Science
(Mr. Stevenson; Mrs. Baker; Ms. Litvack - this is also
Mrs. T's planning time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

get ready to go home

fire and earthquake drills, classroom/pod visitors, other school events,
and projects currently being worked on.
