 Welcome

Welcome to our school! Our school follows the Paideia model. This model is designed to prepare each student to earn a living, be a good citizen, and pursue life-long learning. Paideia expects high academic achievement from all students and believes that it is society's duty to provide them with the opportunity to learn.

Message from the Principal

Hello Park Lodge Dolphins,

I hope Winter Break gave you and your family a wonderful opportunity to rest, rejuvenate, and connect with friends. What a luxury a little family time is: sharing favorite books, playing games, and eating food from traditional family recipes.

As December ends and you think of January with school starting again, what a great chance to begin anew. As teachers and students return to school, I wish for a sense of hope and urgency. The hope is based on passionate teachers, students, and families wanting what is best for kids and willing to do whatever it takes to get students to standard. The urgency comes from the reality that students are going to need assistance and extra support to get there. Our hope is based on the Park Lodge staff qualified and excited about meeting the challenge head on. Please join us in meeting this challenge head on... doing whatever it takes.

All my best,

Eric Richards

Try the Y!!!
For youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Drop Off and Pick Up of Students

Please do not drop your child off before 7:30 in the morning. There is not consistent supervision and we will need to call families to ensure safety at all times. At 7:30, students may be dropped off and go to the gym for free breakfast.

When picking up students at the end of the day, Lakewood Police Dept. is enforcing traffic safety laws and no permitting cars to wait on 100th St. to get into the pick up area. Alfaretta St. is a much quieter option for picking up your children at the end of the day, or even on Lexington Ave. across the field. Please consider using either option as an alternative. Cars lining up prior to 2:15 for pickup will be asked to move for emergency vehicle access.
