Woodbrook Wildcats!

Message from the Principal

Greetings Woodbrook Wildcat Families! I want to share three important points about Woodbrook Middle School. These three areas make Woodbrook unique and make me particularly proud of our students and staff.

1. Every child receives both the core curriculum as well as an additional hour in reading and math instruction at their specific skill level. We take the time to know our students’ academic skills and then support their growth with placement in coursework that addresses their specific need. We successfully serve a wide range of learners.

2. All students receive the benefit of our strong guidance program. Our students become familiar with the “Why Try” program where they learn the rewards of doing the right thing. Students are learning how to appropriately interact with adults and adolescents. This has created a campus and a school culture where behavior is very manageable and the staff can focus on the academic work.

3. We offer a wide range of after school activities. Many students participate and there are multiple program choices open to each grade level. Transportation is provided and there is no charge for joining. Check it out!

We are very proud of our school and work hard to meet the needs of our students. Thank you for your positive support of our programs and staff. Please feel free to call or stop by with your questions.
Ms. Nancy LaChapelle
